She spent her last few years in the Granite State to be close to her daughter Hallie Milton and granddaughter Maryanne (Milton) Aldrich. She was blessed to have been welcomed by her extended family at the Grafton County Nursing Home, where she was lovingly nicknamed "Maine-iac"  for her wit, fiery personality and beloved home of Caribou, Maine.

It was Marjorie's wish to have a graveside service, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband in the New Sweden Cemetery in New Sweden , Maine . Interment details will be published in the Spring. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, one of her favorite charities.
