Sanford, ME Marjorie Jennie Boyce, 89, formerly of Woodsville, NH, died February 27, 2010 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, FL. She was born in Newbury, VT, on February 17, 1921, the daughter of Ebenezer and Mabel (Russell) Plummer. She graduated from Lyndon Institute, Lyndonville, VT, class of 1939. Marjorie was a longtime Woodsville resident prior to her move to Sanford, ME in 1985. She had worked at the former Connors Shoe Shop in Littleton, NH, Marjorie married Harold G. Boyce on August 29, 1941, and he predeceased her on February 4, 1979. She was also predeceased by a daughter Sally Towle in April 1998. Survivors include a daughter Sylvia Cederholm and husband Roger of Fort Myers, FL; two sons Malcolm Boyce and wife Yolanda of Lakewood, CA, and Marston Boyce of Woodsville, NH; seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be on March 12, from 6 to 8 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. The funeral service will be on March 13, at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Betty Ann Abild, pastor of the Wells River, VT Congregational Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Boltonville Cemetery, Wells River, VT.
