Mrs. Marjorie Pervear McLeod, 73, of West Barnet, VT, died on November 23, 1997, at the Fletcher Alan Health Center in Burlington, VT, after a brief illness.

She was born in Cambridge, MA, on November 19, 1924, the daughter of Albert Clay and Elizabeth (Milley) Gaskill.

She and her husband, Kenneth McLeod, moved to West Barnet, VT, in August 1969 from Franklin, MA.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of West Barnet and active with the West Barnet Senior Meal Site.

Surviving relatives include one sone Brian Kenneth McLeod, Dalton, NH; one daughter Pamela A. (Mrs. Brent) Smith, Groton, VT; six grandchildren, Adam Smith, Littleton, NH, Joshua Smith, Aaron Smith, and Jordan Smith all of Groton VT, Jessica McLeod, Montpelier, VT, and Stefanie McLeod, Danville VT; one sister Clayre M. (Mrs. Tony) Cataldo, North Billerica, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A calling hour will be held Tuesday, November 25, 1997, from 7 to 8:00 P.M. in the Ricker Funeral Home, Main Street, West Barnet, VT.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 1997, at 1:30 P.M. in the First Presbyterian Church of West Barnet, VT, with Rev. Dwight White officiating.

Burial will be in the West Barnet Cemetery.
