Mark Stephen Novin (Novogroski), 80, of East Montpelier, passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2026. At the time of his death, Mark had been residing at the home of Annie Crowley in Wells River Vermont. He was born on September 23rd, 1945, in Providence Rhode Island the son of Dr. Allen I. Novogroski and Bernice (Cohen) Novogroski.
After High School, Mark attended St. Lawrence University and graduated with a degree in psychology in 1967. Post graduation Mark lived in several locations, before finally settling in East Montpelier in 1986. Mark went on to work various jobs over the years including a stint at IBM. He was never one to be tied to one place for too long.
Many will remember Mark as a crossing guard for the Montpelier School System, who would drive to his post in a Porsche, Mercedes, etc. showing his passion for fine automobiles.
He is survived by his brother, Herbert Novogroski of Framingham, MA. Mark was predeceased by his brother Edward (Ned) Novogroski.
