North Haverhill, NH Mary Battey Cochran, 97, formerly of South Court Street, Woodsville, NH, died on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Grafton County Nursing Home. She was born June 4, 1911 in Concord, NH the daughter of Charles C. and Grace (Fish) Battey. Mrs. Cochran graduated from Tufts University, Boston, MA. She worked part time as a librarian at the Woodsville Public Library. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years Lawrence N. Cochran on November 21, 2006. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the Blue Mountain Cemetery, Ryegate Corner, VT., at the convenience of the family.
