Woodsville, NH- Mary Whitley, 89, of Central Street, died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Cottage Hospital.  Mary was born on September 2, 1932 in Piermont, NH to Bernard and Eva (Lewis) Horton.  She attended school in Piermont.

When married to her first husband, Hugh Keniston, who served in the US Air Force, Mary traveled both overseas and in the United States.  Later she lived in Fairlee, VT for a number of years.

She enjoyed video games, tending her flowers, and watching the hummingbirds at her feeders.

She was predeceased by her husband John D. Whitley, on August 9, 2017, her sisters, Priscilla Fadden, Marcella Preble, Rita LaBelle, and Marion Dodge.

Mary is survived by her daughter Roseana Burgess and husband Duane; two grandsons, Robbie and Scott; four brothers, Lewis Horton, Richard Horton, Ralph Horton and John Horton and wife Arlene; along with nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday May 4, 2022 at 10AM at the South Lawn Cemetery, Piermont with Melissa Gould serving as Funeral Celebrant.
