Haverhill, NH Marylin Ruth (Goss) Wright, 73, of Court Street, died on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville after a brief illness. She was born in Barnet Center, VT, May 9, 1938, the daughter of Frank and Clarice (Keenan) Goss, Sr. She graduated from Peacham Academy and Heaton Hospital School of Nursing in Montpelier, VT. Marylin operated an assisted living facility at her home in Haverhill called the Haverhill House for 25 years. Marylin was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at Barnet Center and also attended the First Congregational Church of Haverhill UCC in Haverhill. Marylin had a special place in her heart for animals. There was always a dog or cat around her home. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens. When she could, she loved to travel. Survivors include her four sons, Kevin F. Wright and wife Pamela (Gorski) Wright of North Billerica, MA, Todd R. Wright and Stephanie Jean Caccavaro of Haverhill, Alan G. Wright and wife Jody (Tower) Wright of Milton, VT, and John A. Wright of Billerica, MA; two granddaughters, Catherine Pamela Wright and Elizabeth Kelsey Wright; two sisters, Joanne Churchill and husband Bernard of Peacham, VT and Priscilla Paquette and husband Ronald of Colchester, VT; two brothers, Frank Goss, Jr. and wife Joanne of Claremont, NH and William Goss and wife Brenda of Peacham; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 17, from 6 to 8 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 18, at 11 AM at The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at Barnet Center with Rev. Dr. Howard Gaston officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Barnet Center Cemetery at a later date.
