Matthew Gerard Colpitts, 63, of Sugar Hill, NH, passed away on November 27, 2022, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH, following a battle with ALS. He had friends and family by his side along the way.
Born March 25, 1959, in Laconia, NH to the late Charles and Irene Colpitts. He grew up in Bedford, NH, and graduated from Manchester West High School in 1977.
He married his wife Carolyn in 1977 in Manchester, NH, with whom he shared the rest of his life with, raising their three children. They moved to Franconia, NH in 1989.
Matt loved his family (including his dogs), his friends, and had a great love for nature and animals. He could always get a smile, and usually a laugh, out of everyone he chatted with. He was eternally optimistic.
Matt is survived by his wife Carolyn, his children Melissa and partner Mike, Matthew and partner Sara, and Alexa and partner Luis, brothers Chris and wife Becky, Greg and wife Meridith, sisters Lisa and husband Matt, Martha and husband John, grandchildren Samuel and Jacob, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Matt will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
