Glencliff, NH - Matthew Ryan Woolfort passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 24, 2023, while at home in Glencliff, New Hampshire.
Matthew is survived by his beloved daughter, Nina "Pumpkin" Woolfort; his mother, Deborah Dickmann; his partner of five years, Dru Couture; his sisters, Rebecca Perri and Sarah Jones; his brother-in-law, Bryson Perri; his nephews, Tyshaun Rodriguez, Elijah Rodriguez, and Alexander Perri; his nieces, Mallory Perri and Cierra Jones; his great-nephew, EJ Rodriguez and many other friends and family. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Woolfort.
Matthew was born in New Britain, Connecticut on May 15, 1979, to Deborah Dickmann and Richard Woolfort. He moved to New Hampshire in 2005 and worked as a dietary aide at the Glencliff Nursing Home for many years. He touched the lives of everyone that he came into contact with and was well-known throughout his community.
Matthew was a devoted father to his daughter and was known to show up at the Warren Village School to have lunch and play recess games with Nina and her classmates on a daily basis. He was also a loyal and longtime friend to his brothers from other mothers, Pat Oblon, Darcell Moody, and Willie Gladden.
Matthew was dedicated and supportive in every aspect of his daughter's life. She was his world and the light of his life. Matthew was passionate about cars, his connection to wolves, playing World of Warcraft, journaling, and matching his wardrobe with hats, shoes, and jewelry. He was a collector of knives, samurai swords, zippo lighters, and hats. He was a movie buff and could recite dialogue word for word from any movie that he watched. He also loved almost all genres of music and had an extensive collection. He loved to cook, especially for his family.
A celebration of life is planned for October 14, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m. at his home at 3 Station Road in Glencliff, New Hampshire for friends and family to honor and remember him. His ashes will be spread in a separate family event.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Nina's college fund ℅ her grandmother, Deborah Dickmann at P.O. Box 63 Glencliff, New Hampshire.
