Warren, NH Michael Wallace Frank Wright, 62, of Studio Road, died on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Plymouth, NH, October 29, 1949, the son of Wallace Frank and Isabelle (Dunleavey) Wright. Mike graduated from Orford High School. On August 12, 1972 he married Marlene Stevens. He worked for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation from 1969 to 2001 in the Warren and Wentworth District 202 as the foreman. After retiring from the NH DOT he worked part time as a correctional officer at the Grafton County Jail in North Haverhill, NH and for the Wentworth Highway Department. He also served with the VT Army National Guard for 22 years. Mike was a volunteer fireman with the Warren Fire Department and was a member of the Warren ATV Club, and the Asquamchumakee Valley Snowmobile Club. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. His passion, though, was riding motorcycles, including his Harley Davidson Trike that he bought last spring, and camping. He loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marlene (Stevens) Wright of Warren, NH; his daughter, Cori Maines and husband Richard of Danbury, NH; two sons, Duane Moody and Tracy of Fairlee, VT and Michael Wright and his wife Katherine of Orford, NH; eight grandchildren, Eric, Craig, Curtis, Christina, Kelly, Shaunna, Tucker, and Isabella; two sisters, Marie Scribner and her husband Loren of Evergreen, CO and Freda Sirois and husband Richard of Wethersfield, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and one great aunt. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 23, from 1 to 3 PM, with a period of reflection and sharing of memories to begin at 3 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. Burial will be in the spring at the Glencliff Cemetery.
