Bath, NH-  Michael Lawrence Woods, 59, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 17, 2017.

Mike was born in Haverhill, NH on November 4, 1957, to Lawrence F. and Virginia P. (Gravett) Woods.  He was a graduate of Woodsville High School, Class of 1976.

For over thirty years, Mike worked for DCI in Littleton and Lisbon.  Then, for the past five years, he was employed at WalMart in Woodsville.  He also did lawn care in the area for many years.

Mike was a member of the Ammonoosuc Valley Railroad Association.  He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and playing softball in the Ryegate, VT Softball League.

He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence F. Woods on July 8, 1989, and his mother, Virginia P. Woods on April 14, 2000.

He is survived by his sister, Alice Dean of Woodsville; two nieces, Lisa Murray of Wells River, VT and Crystal Green and husband Charlie of Bath; three great nieces, Alexa, Avery, and Alaina and two great nephews, Billy and Benjamin; an aunt and several cousins.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, March 23 from 5-7 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street,Woodsville.

A private family burial will be in the Bath Village Cemetery in the spring.
