Woodsville, NH- Myles Albert Glasbrenner, 92, of Tree Top Estates, died on August 2, 2010, at Cottage Hospital. He was born in Norwich, CT, March 27, 1918, the son of Robert and Mabel (Burgess) Glasbrenner. He served with U. S. Navy during World War II. Myles was an engineer for the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroads. He has lived in Woodsville for the past ten years. He was predeceased by his two wives, Flora (Williams) Glasbrenner in 1963 and Marie (Cook) Glasbrenner in 1981; and his brother, John R. Glasbrenner. Survivors include his three daughters, Regina Treece and husband Robert of Sugar Grove, IL, Myrna Desmond of Conway, SC, and Sandra Scully and husband Robert of Coventry, RI; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; and his companion, Rilla M. Dobson of Woodsville, NH. There will be no public services. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London, CT.
