Myrtle L. (Shortt) Seace, 89, Lisbon, died on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Palliative Care Center in Lebanon, NH.  She was born in Warren, NH on September 20, 1934, to George and Nellie (Wright) Shortt, the youngest of eleven children.
Myrtle graduated from Orford High School with the class of 1952 and married shortly after graduating and had four children.  Myrtle was a hard worker her whole life.  She worked in area factories before finding work in the laundries of Mittersill and The Willows for several years.  She was also a housekeeper for several local families.  She sewed clothing for Annalee Dolls for many years and would perform clothing alterations for the families she kept house for.
Myrtle enjoyed catching up with her friends and family on Facebook, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and having close friends and family stop by to visit.
Myrtle is predeceased by her parents; two sons, Bobbie and Merle Seace; six brothers, Ray Bean, Merle Shortt, Aaron Shortt, Leland Shortt, Stanley Shortt, and an infant brother; four sisters Eda Krol, Hattie Fillion, Marjorie Spell, and an infant sister.  She is survived by a son, Brent Seace of Los Bonos, CA; a daughter, Valerie Messner-Seace and her husband Thomas Messner of Los Bonos, CA; 13 grandchildren, including Robbie Seace of Nasua, NH, who she raised as her own; five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
