Nancy Marie Bly, 73, of North Woodstock, NH, passed away on December 28, 2024. She is lovingly remembered by her two sons: Peter Sashin (Patricia) of Downers Grove, IL, and Matthew Sashin (Danielle) of Pawcatuck, CT; and her stepdaughter, Jessica Ickes (Joshua) of Broomall, PA. She was a proud grandmother to Olivia and Jordyn Sashin of Downers Grove, IL, and Asa Sashin of Pawcatuck, CT.

Nancy is also survived by her mother, Evelyn Justesen; her siblings: Jeff Justesen (Wanda), Roy Justesen, and Linda Kymalainen; as well as nephews Tom Justesen, Dustin Kymalainen, and Bobby Kymalainen, and nieces Wendy Kymalainen and Julie Kymalainen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Justesen, and her sister, Susan Justesen.

Born in Passaic, NJ, on June 13, 1951, Nancy earned a bachelor's degree in education and pursued a professional career in Connecticut as a financial planner for teachers.

Nancy cherished her ski house and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed horseback riding, knitting, solving crossword puzzles and watching Penn State football.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations or volunteer time to be given to your favorite charity in Nancy's memory.

A celebration of her life will be held in the coming months.
