Bath, NH – Nancy Lou Burbank, 63, of West Bath Road, died Thursday, Sept 6, 2018, at her home after enduring a long battle with cancer.

Lou was born in Pineville, Louisiana, August 21, 1955, a daughter of Lawrence "Bud" Mardin and Lois (Locke) Mardin.  She had worked locally at the former Ames Store in North Haverhill and Woodsville, as well as, for the former Burndy's in North Haverhill.

Lou enjoyed camping, cooking, sewing, NASCAR, the Red Sox, and caring for the flower gardens around her home.

She was predeceased by her mother Lois Chapman on February 6, 2017, her father Lawrence "Bud" Mardin, her step father David L. Chapman, Sr. on December 17, 1998,  her brother Gerald "Buddy" Mardin on October 22, 1969, a step daughter Wendy Cozens on April 1, 2017, and a step sister, Barbara Ann Berthiaume.

Lou is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Steve Burbank, of Bath, to whom she married in October 1983; two sons, Brent Burbank and Danielle Morris of Bath and Timothy Bemis and wife Angela of Bath; six grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine M. Stiegler and husband Frank of North Haverhill and Debbie L. Tyler and husband Rick of Bath; two brothers, Brian Mardin and Maureen Nolin of Claremont, and David L. Chapman Jr., of Porter, ME; a step sister, Heidi Burbank of California; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.  Private burial service will be observed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Woodsville, NH.
