Monroe, NH Nancy Elizabeth Fournier, 67, died April 6, 2011 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH following an extended illness. Nancy was born in Benton, NH, December 22, 1943, a daughter of Douglas E. and Elizabeth L. (Mardin) Brooks. She graduated Haverhill Academy, Class of 1963 and married Richard R. Fournier on February 27, 1965, at St. Joseph s Catholic Church in Woodsville. For many years they lived in Merrimack, NH before retiring to Monroe in 2000. Nancy worked for the former Sprague Electric and Fab-Raz companies in Nashua. She later became the supervisor of housekeeping at The Appleton Inn in Merrimack. She greatly enjoyed fishing in Pittsburg. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Richard R. Fournier of Monroe; two daughters, Marilyn J. Pollock and husband George of Apopka, FL, and Vicki M. Quagliani and husband Raymond of Manchester, NH; three sons, Steven E. Fournier of Concord, NH, Tommy A. Fournier and wife Kristin of Manchester, and Donald R. Fournier and wife Anne of Merrimack; 14 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; a sister, Carole Sibley of Haverhill; a brother, Russell Brooks of Lisbon, NH; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth Brooks on July 14, 1992, her father, Douglas Brooks on January 23, 2007, and a brother, Wayne Chip Brooks on September 29, 2005. Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 10, from 6 to 8 PM at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 11, at 3 PM at St. Joseph s Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, with Rev. Jeffrey Statz, pastor officiating. Spring burial will be in Horse Meadow Cemetery, North Haverhill at a later date.
