Haverhill, NH-  Nancy Wheeler Underhill, 76, of Court Street, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH.

Nancy was born in Newbury, VT on February 16, 1943 to Bert Oscar and Blanche (Adams) Wheeler.  She was a graduate of Newbury High School, Class of 1961.

Nancy was a hairdresser.  She also worked for 17 years as a forklift operator at First National Food Distribution Center in Windsor Locks, CT.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Newbury.  She loved bowling and enjoyed baking, trips to the casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Stephen L. Underhill of Piermont, NH, Jeffrey S.  Underhill and wife Abigail of Piermont, and Murray N. Underhill and wife Nancy of Ellington, CT; daughter, Elizabeth A. Underhill Cooper of Florida; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; former husband, Ernest "Bud" Underhill of Haverhill; four sisters, Betty Emerson of West Newbury, VT, Mary Smith of West Newbury, Josephine Rivera and husband Ismeal of Danielson, CT, and Donna Lufkin of Newbury; four brothers, Robert Wheeler of Wells River, VT, James Wheeler of West Newbury, Steve Wheeler and wife Lynn of Woodsville, NH, and Tony Wheeler and wife Rhonda of Newbury; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Friday, June 28 ^th at 1 PM in South Lawn Cemetery, Piermont, with Rev. David Pruitt, officiating.
