Nestor C. Chamberland Jr. 74, passed away July 1, 2022 at Northeast Vermont Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Morin) Chamberland of East Ryegate, VT.  They were married on April 24, 1971 in St. Ann's Church in Woonsocket and they shared more than 51 years together.

Born in Bellingham, MA to the late Nestor C Chamberland Sr. and Rhea (Bernier) Chamberland, Nestor attended Bellingham Schools before receiving his BS in Business Management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence RI.

Nestor was an Air Force veteran serving as a weapons specialist with the 366 ^th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Da Nang Air Force Base achieving the rank of sergeant.  He was a lifetime member of both the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 818 and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12.  Nestor was a member of the Woonsocket Rotary Club for many years.

Before retiring in 2014, he worked in the healthcare field primarily at the old Woonsocket Hospital and local nursing homes before joining Lowe's Home Improvement Stores as a second career.

Besides his wife, Linda, he leaves two sons, Michael and his wife Ashley of VT and Mark and his wife Sherri of FL.  He was the loving grandfather of six grandchildren, Christopher, Emma, Samantha, Joey, Matthew, and Emily, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Balance Lamothe and Ella Powers.
