Groton, VT Newell Lee Frost, 76, of Powder Spring Road, died May 4, 2009 at Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH. He was born in Groton, VT, January 24, 1933, a son of Lee and Mary (Cassidy) Frost. Newell was a self employed dairy farmer, who later worked in heavy duty construction. He married Beverly Dickey on October 20, 1950 and she predeceased him on June 15, 1997. Survivors include his children Sandra Hatch and husband Brent of Stanfield, NC, Gail Roulx and husband Norman of Warren, NH, Jack Frost and wife Susan of Weare, NH, and Vickie Darby and husband Hoyt of East Ryegate, VT, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, two sisters Mildred Ashford and husband John of Wells River, VT, and Sharon Bailey and husband Norman of Groton, VT, and a brother Earl Frost and wife Barbara of Monroe, NH, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Newell s request their will be no public services at this time. Private burial will be at a later date in Groton Village Cemetery.
