North Haverhill, NH - Norman F. Page, Sr., 80, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was born in Cookeville, VT on August 3, 1939, the son of Frank and Rose (Heath) Page. After graduation from Haverhill Academy, Norm served in the US Air Force from June 1958 until his honorable discharge on September 30, 1978 with the rank of Master Sergeant. His twenty-year military career took him to bases in Illinois, Idaho, New York, Alaska, New Hampshire and Thailand. He was most proud, though, of having served his country in Vietnam. After military retirement, Norm held many different jobs and spent many years as a corrections officer with the Grafton County Department of Corrections.

Norm loved and cherished his family and friends. When you met Norm, you knew he cared about you and drew you in with his warm smile, generous hugs and very quickly was sharing an 'I love you'. He was a kind hearted, gentle soul who always found the best in all of us. His God, country and music were his guides in life. It gave him great pleasure to sing and play his guitar for residents of the Grafton County Nursing Home, the Grafton County Senior Center and at the North Haverhill United Methodist Church, giving all the glory to God through his music.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Althea Page of North Haverhill; a daughter, Dawn Rae Bridges and husband Ron of Oklahoma; two sons, Steven Page and wife Tracy of North Haverhill and John M. Page and wife Denise of Littleton, NH; a stepdaughter, Christine Allen and husband Rory of  Chelsea, VT; a sister, Linda McKinney and husband Bruce of Pike, NH; a brother, John E. Page and wife Ruth of North Haverhill; several  grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by a son, Norman F. Page, Jr. on April 21, 2020; and a granddaughter, Erin O. Page on February 20, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at a later date as circumstances allow.
