Obituary

West Topsham, VT Norman Sebastian Buz Graham, 65, died Friday, October 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Ellwood City, PA, February 22, 1949, a son of Murdo and Erna Ann (Fellner) Graham. He entered the United States Marine Corps on July 5, 1967, served during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was discharged on May 11, 1970 as a Sergeant. For several years, Buz was a self-employed carpenter. He moved to Vermont from Pennsylvania in the spring of1979. He was a life member of the East Barre VFW. Buz loved hunting, fishing, feeding the chipmunks, as well as caring for his own animals. He is survived by his children, Michelle Singer and Theodore Ted Graham of North Carolina; his mother, Ann F. Graham of Ellwood City, PA; a granddaughter and two great grandchildren; his longtime companion, Sylvia Beck of West Topsham, VT; a brother, Malcolm Mac Graham and Linda of Ellwood City, PA and two sisters, Stephanie Graham of Randolph, VT, and Ernesta Ziter and husband Mike of Barre, VT; along with and uncle and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:45 PM. Burial is being planned at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517. Topeka, KS 66675.
