Haverhill, NH – Patricia Ann (White) Ingerson, 77, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Haverhill, June 17, 1939, a daughter of Oscar and Rachel (Smith) White. For many years Pat was an assistant cook in the Woodsville High School hot lunch program and then spent nearly 25 years working at Cottage Hospital in the Emergency Room and X-Ray Departments. Pat was an avid photographer and would show her work at area summer fairs but especially enjoyed showing at Sandwich Fair. She also enjoyed time with her husband Richard, camping with her children and grandchildren traveling, and taking bus tours. She took time to write poetry and loved to draw. Pat was always interested in continuing to learn and expand her knowledge. Pat took an interest in and was a very active EMT member of the Woodsville Volunteer Ambulance Service when it first began operating. Pat was a devout Christian and was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in North Haverhill.
Pat was married to Richard M. Ingerson on February 24, 1956 and he predeceased her on December 15, 2014. She was also predeceased by a son in law Richard Lique on November 3, 2012, and a sister Dorothy Hall on January 14, 2016.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Lique of Woodsville; three sons, Richard Ingerson, Jr,, and wife Sandra of West Burke, VT, James Ingerson and wife Paula of Monroe, NH and Jonathan Ingerson and wife Virginia of Haverhill; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three brothers, Donald White of North Haverhill, John "Jack" White of Leesburg, FL, and John Pollock of North Haverhill; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, August 6 from 10-11AM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, with a memorial service immediately following at 11 AM with Pastor Jeff Greeson, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, 114 Perimeter Road, Nashua, NH 03063.
