Newbury, VT- Patricia Pat Rhoads, 72, of Main Street, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, on April 22, 2008. She was born in Brookfield, VT, on November 22, 1935, to Herbert Theodore and Mildred (Wheeler) Baker. She graduated from Windsor High School and attended Smith College. Pat married Robert Dusty Rhoads on March 22, 1958. Before retiring in 2002, she had worked as a paralegal for the Reid & Balivet Law Office in Newbury for 27 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 10038 and of TREA. She is survived by her husband, Dusty Rhoads of Newbury; three sons, Tim Rhoads and wife Nancy and Ted Rhoads and wife Lynn both of Woodsville, and Robert Rhoads and Barb of Underhill, VT; two brothers, Harold Baker of Hinesburg, VT and Philip Baker and wife Virginia of Warner Robbins, GA; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
