Groton, VT Pearlene P. Eastman, 95, of Scott Memorial Highway, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center, St. Johnsbury, VT. She was born in Groton, VT, March 19, 1917, one of seven children to Ellery and Effie (Crouse) Page. She married Harold S. Eastman on March 30, 1932. Pearlene worked for the US Postal Service as a postal clerk for 27 years at the Groton Post Office. After her retirement Harold and Pearlene enjoyed spending time at their camp on Baker River in Wentworth, NH. Pearlene will be fondly remembered for all the special occasion cards that she sent out to family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Harold S. Eastman, Sr. on May 5, 2003; and five sisters, Ellen Williams, Alice McDonald, Freda Williams, Dorothy Page, and Mary Hatch; and a brother, Leo Page. Survivors include her daughter, Juelle Lamberton and husband Milton of Groton, VT; a son, Harold S. Buzzy Eastman, Jr. and wife Betty of Groton, VT; three grandchildren, Judy Corbett and husband Pat, Gary Lamberton and wife Kathleen, and Lisa Hart and husband Steve; six great grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren Lamberton, Emilee and Ellyn Hart, Shaun Corbett and wife Emilye, and Daniel Corbett and wife Nicole; one great great grandson, Colton Corbett; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be on Saturday, April 28, at 1 PM at the Groton Village Cemetery, with Pastor Candace Ricker of the Groton United Methodist Church officiating.
