Wells River, VT-  Peter Allen Tuttle, 46, of Leighton Hill Road, died at his home on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Peter was born in Hanover, NH, on May 7, 1970, to Clair "Skip" and Diana (Rollins) Tuttle.  He was a graduate of Oxbow High School.  He had worked for the East Ryegate paper mill.  Most recently, he was employed with Valley Floors in Bradford, VT, prior to retiring due to health concerns.

Peter was an avid hunter.  He enjoyed "mudding" with his friends.  As a NASCAR fan, he enjoyed camping at Loudon, NH, for the races.  He was a sports fan, in general, and he especially liked watching baseball and hockey.  His favorite band was AC/DC.  Peter enjoyed Tuesday mornings with "The Breakfast Club."

He was predeceased by his brother, Jeremy "JJ" Tuttle on September 2, 1987.

He is survived by four children, Jeremy Tuttle of Newbury, Sara Tuttle of Sharon, VT, and Logan and Ethan Tuttle both of Newbury; a step-son, Tom Sanville of Newbury; a granddaughter, McKinley; his parents, Skip and Diana Tuttle of Newbury; a brother Aaron Tuttle and wife Jennifer of Newbury; three nieces, Jami, Nicole, and Riley; and an aunts and uncles, Anah and Freeman Tuttle, Jr., Warren Rollins and wife Barbara, and Robert Rollins,  along with several cousins.  He is also survived by his faithful companions, Birch and Won-Ton.

A celebration of Peter's life will be on Sunday, May 28, starting at 12 PM at the East Corinth Ball Field, East Corinth, VT.
