Phillip Vallone of Bath, NH, age 55, died suddenly on Friday, February 5 ^th , 2021.

Phil was born in Rochester, NY to Fioravante and Filomena (Cerqua) Vallone.  He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Daniel Vallone and Frank Vallone.

Phillip is survived by his wife Nancy Vallone; a son, Max Vallone and daughter, Amelia Vallone, both of Rochester, NY; a brother, Jerry Vallone and wife Sandi of Farmington, NY; and a sister, Anna Fiorucci of Rush, NY and many beloved nieces and nephews. He attended Spencerport High School and graduated in the class of 1983. His childhood hobby was building rockets in his basement which led him to pursue a mechanical/aerospace engineering career.  He received his Bachelors degree at Cornell University in 1988, and then finished his education with a Masters Degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1997. Phil worked for 32 years as a controls engineer for L3Harris. He leaves behind many cherished friends and colleagues from those days.  He retired in May of last year and moved to a little piece of heaven farm in the countryside of northern New Hampshire.

Phil enjoyed backpacking and climbing mountains and was preparing to take on the challenge of the Appalachian Trail. He found peace in the outdoors and was an avid hunter, farmer and woodsman. He studied primitive survival skills and looked forward to new outdoor adventures.  He had an endless love for music, research, family, friends, and children. Phil's talent for inventing stories and sharing slightly embarrassing dad jokes will forever make us smile. He was fun-loving, crazy Uncle Phil, the master of spreadsheets and the fixer of all things. The legacy and countless contributions that Phillip shared with the world will live on in the strength and memory of his loved ones.

Services will be held on Monday, February 15 ^th from 2-4pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house located at 460 Kreag Road, Pittsford NY.  We encourage guests to share their memories of Phil either online (see below) or at the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester NY.
