Phyllis Frechette, 83, Winchester, NH, died in Keene, NH after a period of failing health.  She was born in Groton, VT on August 20, 1938, to John Hatch Jr. and Agnes (Hay) Hatch.  She graduated from Groton High School in 1956 and moved to CT to work for the Gaston J. Frechette Co. She later married Gaston Frechette and participated in the ownership responsibilities of the company until her retirement in 2011.

Phyllis owned many horses and enjoyed showing pleasure buggy class, achieving national grand champion on one occasion.

She predeceased by her parents, a son Daniel Lamarre, two brothers Ralph and Dale Hatch.  She is survived by two sons, Dale Lamarre of Winchester, NH and John Frechette and his partner Donna of Canton Center, CT, four grandsons, Tom, Matthew, Jeremey Lamarre, and Andrew Crowley, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday August 6, 2022, at 1PM at Groton Village Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Walton officiating.
