Haverhill, NH – Ralph Albert Wright, 85, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. Ralph was born December 12, 1939, in Hanover, NH, the son of Forrest E. and Althea (Dow) Wright

Ralph was a lifetime resident of Haverhill where he attended Haverhill Academy. He joined the army in the early 1960s and was stationed in Germany during his enlistment.  As a real estate broker, he grew his early experience with his family's lumber mill and farm into a lifelong career of buying and selling real estate and working in the timber industry.  This provided him with the continuous opportunity to satisfy in his lifelong enjoyment of hiking a forest and discovering the potential of the land.  Ralph also loved the treasure hunt of the local auction circuit.

Survivors include his four sons, Kevin F. Wright and wife Pamela (Gorski) Wright of North Billerica, MA, Todd R. Wright of Haverhill, Alan G. Wright and wife Jody (Tower) Wright of Milton, VT, and John A. Wright of Billerica, MA; two granddaughters, Catherine Pamela Wright and Elizabeth Kelsey Wright; three sisters, Violet Burgess of Chelsea, Vermont, Carol and Rupert McKean of Glencliff, NH and Marion Thayer, of Woodsville, NH; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He also leaves behind his long-time partner Carol Wellman from Wilder, VT.  He was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his four sons, Marylin Ruth Goss Wright, his parents and brothers, Harold Wright, and Carl and his wife Glenna M. (Hight) Wright, and brothers-in-law Tom Burgess and Clarence Thayer, Jr. and by a niece, Anne Marie Belyea.

Abiding by his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services held.  Ralph asked to have his ashes spread at the family homestead where he spent his childhood.
