Lyndonville, VT Randy Keith Brightly, 49, died on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Fletcher Allen Healthcare, Burlington, VT. He was born in Red Hook, NY, on August 3, 1958, the son of David and Beverly (Klein) Brightly. Randy enjoyed poetry and had won awards for the poetry he had written. He enjoyed nature, believed in Native American Ways, wood carving, and walking in the woods with his dogs. His family was very important to him and he gained strength through the love that he received and gave. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Beverly (Klein) Brightly. Survivors include his companion, Dee Dee Martino of Lyndonville, VT and Shidoshi, his faithful and devoted dog; stepdaughter, Allison Martino of Greenfield, MA; stepson, Donald Martino of Attleboro, MA; grandson, Xavier Blagojevic of Greenfield, MA; five sisters, Dee Dee Leete and husband Donald of Newbury, VT, Tammy Hardin of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sally Jo Brightly of FL, Lucinda Brightly of TX and Laura Brightly of NY; two brothers, David Brightly of VA and Matthew Brightly of NY; special nieces, Jessica Tuttle and husband Pete and their children, Logan, Sara and Jeremy, and Kesha Brightly, a special nephew Drew Leete, and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
