Raymond John Fotion, Jr., 80, Newbury, VT sighed his last breath on Thursday, February 9,2023. He was born in Derby, CT, on December 18, 1942, to Antionette (CiPolla) and Raymond Fotion, Sr.
He grew up in Ansonia, CT and was a graduate of Ansonia High School Class of 1961. After high school he was an apprentice for 4 years. In the late 60's, Raymond brought his young family up north a bit to build a new life in Windsor, VT. He worked as a biomedical technician for more than 30 years at Keene Medical; he worked in both Lebanon, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT.
Raymond had a passion for cars. He enjoyed attending car shows, and delighted in challenging himself by restoring a 1949 Ford F1.
He is predeceased by his first son, Raymond John Fotion, III, on August 4, 2017; as well as by both of his parents, Antionette and Raymond John Fotion, Sr.
Raymond is survived by his children, Steven G. Fotion and Joelle of Colorado, Matthew C. Fotion of Windsor, VT, Elizabeth Heibler and Douglas of Whitehall, NY, Rebecca Lund and Craig of Brandon, VT, and Kathryn Bigue and Richard of Hinesburg, VT; his brother, Richard Fotion and Marianne of Palm Coast, FL; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
