On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, we mourn the loss and celebrate the lives of Ray and Sheila Fortin.
Raymond Fortin, 87, passed away on November 21, 2024. Born on May 21, 1937, in Salem, Massachusetts, Raymond was the son of Adrien Fortin and Lena Marquis. Sheila Fortin, 87, passed away on June 23, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1937, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Sheila was the daughter of Harvey Marcoux and Helen Fagan.

They are survived by their 5 daughters: Cheryl (Ron) Saunders, Linda (Steven) Saunders, Barbara (Fred) Stoddard, Anne (Will) Ingalls, and Janice (John) Beckett; their son: Raymond (Lisa) Fortin; 12 grandchildren: Jessica, Steve, Jacob, Bob, Brianna, Brenna, Danielle, Melissa, Michael, Derek, Corin, Angelina and 14 great grandchildren.

Ray and Sheila touched many lives with their love and kindness. They were faithful Catholics who volunteered often for the church. Both had many accomplishments over the years, but one thing that remained true for 67 years of marriage was their devotion to each other.

They will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Monroe Road, Bath, NH, on July 2, at 11 AM.
