Raymond F. Young, 65, Woodsville, died suddenly on Tuesday October 11, 2022.  He was born in Lancaster, NH on September 4, 1957 to Henry and Ella (Jones) Young.  Growing up in Whitefield, NH, he attended Lancaster High School.

Ray married Lynn Haskell on July 22, 2001 on the shore of Pearl Lake in Lisbon.  He worked for many years at Newman Lumber in Woodsville and later at Copeland Furniture in Bradford, VT.  He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Ray is predeceased by his parents, Ella in 1999 and Henry in 2013; and a sister, Bonnie Shreve in 2013.  He is survived by his wife, Lynn Young of Woodsville; two sons, Matthew Gaudette and his wife Jenna of Manchester, CT, and Phillip Gaudette of Ryegate, VT; four grandchildren, Maddox, Ashton, Sophia, and Skylan; a sister, Ida Bartlett and her husband Kenneth of Clifton Park, NY; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
