Plymouth, NH – Rebecca Jean Evans, 54, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 3, 2018, at her home from natural causes.

She was born in Woodsville, NH, February 3, 1964, a daughter of Donald R. and Glenda (Moody) Evans.  Raised in Woodsville, she graduated from Woodsville High School, Class of 1982 and later attended Regis College in Weston, MA, and Emerson College in Boston.  With a passion for children and teaching, she worked for several years for the Children's Center at Plymouth State University and has most recently worked at the White Mountain Montessori School in Holderness.  Rebecca has participated for the past six years in writing workshops with author Ernest Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter Madeleine Rose "Maddy" Hansen and companion Thomas Budd of Park City, UT, her parents Donald and Glenda Evans of Campton, a brother Bruce E. Evans and wife Janine of Concord, and sister Kimberley Burris and husband Whitney of Lamoine, ME, a niece Gabrielle Evans and two nephews Nathaniel and Evan Burris, along with cousins.

A celebration of Rebecca's life will be on Sunday, July 22nd, at 2 PM at the Green Grove Cemetery, 157 Main Street, Ashland, NH.
