Warren, NH Richard A. Wright, 75, of Bixby Lane, died on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Joan Lang Home Care in Passumpsic, VT. He was born in Haverhill, NH, October 21, 1935, a son of George I. and Martha M. (Foote) Wright. For many years he was employed with the Allen Rogers Mill in Wentworth, NH before becoming self employed at his own mill where he specialized in manufacturing grade stakes. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, and music. Richard married Nora (Little) Slayton on November 12, 1971. He was predeceased by his parents, George I. and Martha M. Wright; a stepson, James Slayton; two brothers, Glenn Wright and Harry T. Wright, Sr. Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Nora Slayton Wright of Warren, NH; a daughter, Patricia J. Smith of Wentworth, NH; a son, Tilden George Wright of Bath, NH; four stepsons, Maurice W. Slayton and his wife Kristy of Bloomfield, CT, Paul R. Slayton and his wife Betsy of Enfield, CT, Richard A. Slayton and his wife Carol of Granby, CT, and David R. Slayton and his wife Cheryl of East Ryegate, VT; 3 grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous friends. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 15, at 11 AM, at the Warren United Methodist Church, Warren, NH with Rev. David Moore and Rev. Mel Hansen officiating. Burial will follow at the East Haverhill Cemetery, Route 25, East Haverhill. NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cottage Hospital Oncology Department, P. O.
