Columia, SC Rita L. Bixby, 79, a former long time Haverhill and Warren resident died September 12, 2011 following a short illness. She was born in Bath, NH, August 4, 1932, a daughter of Arthur and Marie (Fournier) Greenwood. For several years Rita worked as a seamstress at a dress shop in Lebanon, NH, where she was noted for working on bridal attire. Rita enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling in her younger years. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur W. Bixby, on September 5, 2011. Survivors include two daughters Donna Hubbard and Debra Keith, five sons Dale, Dana, and Dennis Smith, and Daniel and Steven Bixby, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sister Jeanette Welch and Laurette Millette. She was predeceased by three sisters Margarte, Lucile, Rosalie, and a brother Richard. A graveside service will be on October 29, 2011, at 2 PM in Warren Village Cemetery, Warren, NH with Pastor David Moore officiating.
