Obituary

Littleton, NH- Robert Allan Rob Boutin, 38, of North Littleton Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Rob was born on April 28, 1976, in Littleton, to Robert Wayne and Jeannette (Livingston) Boutin. He was a graduate of Lisbon Regional School, Class of 1994, and attended Champlain College. Rob worked as the area manager for SJP Trucking, a contractor for FedEx, for over ten years. Rob served as an Infantryman in the NH National Guard and had been called to active duty where he served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from January 5, 2004 through March 25, 2005. He received the Army Service Ribbon, Humanitary Service Medal, Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Reserve Overseas Training Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, New Hampshire National Guard State Active Duty Ribbon, and the Meritorious Unit Citation. Rob enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping and kayaking. He was an avid fan and supporter of the Boston Red Sox, as well as the Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. Rob is survived by three children, Quentin A. Boutin and Sydney L. Boutin of Conway, NH and Haile L. Boutin of Woodsville, NH; his parents, Robert and Jeannette of Bath, NH; his maternal grandmother, Betty Livingston of Lisbon, NH; his paternal grandmother, Verginia Boutin Brooks and husband Russell of Lisbon; his sister, Korin M. Boutin of Bath; his niece and nephew, Isabella Roman Cruz and Israel Roman Cruz; his girlfriend, Tara K. Donovan and her son Sean M. Bethea of Littleton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his many friends and Brothers in Arms. A memorial service will be on Saturday, August 23rd, at 2 PM at the home of his parents, Robert and Jeannette, at 136 Ammonoosuc Avenue, Bath.
