Piermont, NH Robert John McDonald, 76, a longtime Piermont resident died October 2, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Groton, VT, July 18, 1932, a son of Eben M. and Alice (Page) McDonald. He was a 1950 graduate of Groton High School, and later spent several years farming with his father on River Road in Piermont. Survivors include two sisters Muriel Weeks of Orford, and Irene Mitchell of Piermont, one brother Floyd McDonald of Nashua, NH, along with several nieces, nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery, Piermont.
