Obituary

Robert Pushee, 79, of Woodsville, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, June 23 at 11:40 AM. Robert was born September 12, 1943, to Doris and Olyph Pushee in Hanover, New Hampshire and had two older brothers, Richard and Paul. He worked at the Copeland woodworking factory until he retired in the 1990's. For the last several years, he has lived with Amy Baker and her family, where he was adored and catered to like the king that he was. Robert lived in the Haverhill/Woodsville area for the last twenty years. His favorite activities were bowling, BINGO, puzzles, and collecting miscellaneous doodads. He had a great sense of humor, was super charming and mischievous, and was an immediate favorite of everyone who met him.

Robert is survived by his devoted caregiver, Amy Baker, her children Tasha and Jared, her mother, Nancy and their dog Ace, (who Robert loved to tattle on), Emily Hatch, Billie-Jo Kimber, and many friends from Common Ground and the Haverhill Senior Center.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, brothers, former care provider Polly Placey, and former roommates Dan Hannen and Cortney Pedro.

A very special thanks to Anita Boardman, Stephanie Alfaro and Gina Towle for the loving care they have provided to Amy and Robert over the years and especially towards the end of his life.

A celebration of life will be held for Robert on August 20, at 3:00, at the Baker Residence on Smith Street in Woodsville.
