Robert Lloyd Titus "Bob", 87, of Newbury, VT, passed away peacefully at home Friday January 27, 2023.

Bob was born in Brookfield VT on February 7, 1935, to Fred and Emily (Denton) Rich. He was later adopted by Howard and Rachel (Bixby) Titus.

He worked as a mechanic on cars and trucks. Bob had a long career as a grader operator on road construction and was a member of IUOE local 98. He was proud of his work and told many stories about the interstates, runways, and other projects.

Bob loved deer hunting, and fishing. Many happy hours were spent on the pontoon boat, both here and in Florida. He and his wife Rosemary spent many years wintering in Titusville FL and summers in campgrounds in VT and NH.

Bob was a " tinkerer", and always had something he was working on... He was an avid reader of mystery and action books. And he also built an entire house from plans he ordered from Popular Mechanics in 1972.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Theresa and Frank Rothe of Newbury; his son, Theron R Titus of Haverhill NH; their mother Sandra Titus of Newbury Center, VT; and his grandson Adam Rothe and his wife Hannah of Barre, VT.

Bob is also survived by the children of his heart. He loved them all very deeply.

The Wilson family; David (Korina), Michael (Karen), Traci (Tony)Bowers. And their extended families. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary.

We all remember happy times on the river, at campgrounds, and trips to Florida.

Many Thanks to Bayada Hospice for their wonderful care and support so we were able to bring him home for his final weeks.

At his request, there will not be any service held. The family will have a celebration of life at a later time.
