Robert Edmund Vezeau, 79, of Benton, NH, passed away peacefully at his home on October 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 23, 1944, in Rochester, NH, Robert spent his early years in Portsmouth, where he attended school before proudly serving in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. After his military service, he worked at Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH, for 30 years, retiring with a lifetime of friendships and memories.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wives: Renate Vezeau, Geraldine Hinzman, and Idalmis Martinez. His generous spirit and leadership were evident in his role as Commander of the American Legion Post 98 in Merrimack, NH, where he served for several years. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, spending countless days hunting, fishing, and enjoying cold beers with his buddies. Robert cherished his time on the island of St. Kitts, where he lived for twelve fulfilling years.
Affectionately known as "Robert E. People's Choice," Robert's humor, warmth, and lively spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is predeceased by a sister, Maryland. He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Battistelli, her husband Eric, and their children Madeline Compos, Jack Compos, and Blake Battistelli, and his son, Robert Vezeau, his wife Stacie, and their children Maxwell, Dominic, and Caroline Vezeau of Michigan.
