Groton, VT- Roy Joseph LeBlanc, 56, died on Monday, April 2, 2018, at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center, St. Johnsbury, VT
Roy was born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, to Albert and Lillia (Pellerin) LeBlanc.
With his family, he moved to Waltham, MA, from age 5 through his teenage years when he left Waltham and moved to Vermont.
He was self-employed, working as a carpenter. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking his dog swimming, and all outdoor activities. He liked to cook and enjoyed bonfires and pitching horseshoes. Mostly, he loved time spent with his son, Bryan.
He is survived by his son, Bryan LeBlanc of Groton; two sisters, Linda Condon of Topsham, VT and Claudette LeBlanc of St. Anne, NB; five brothers, Leonard LeBlanc of New Brunswick, Clarence LeBlanc of Florida, Nelson and Roger LeBlanc both of Waltham, and Ronald LeBlanc of New Brunswick; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In keeping with Roy's wishes, there are no public services being planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jazzy's Children Fund, 1506 Annis Road, Groton, VT 05046.
