Rumney, NH – Royal Ferguson "Chip" Reed, 56, of Stinson Lake Road, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his home. He was born in Newton, MA, November 22, 1956, the son of Roy Ferguson and Muriel (Hackett) Reed. Chip attended the University of Massachusetts for Business and University of New Hampshire for Forestry. He was a self employed electrician for many years. He was predeceased by his son, Ian Reed in 2000 and his father, Roy Ferguson Reed on November 3, 2012. Survivors include his mother, Muriel Reed of Bath, NH; his son, Evan Reed of NH; a sister, Lynne Reed of St. Augustine, FL; a brother, Robert Reed of Edgewater, FL; and a friend, Beth Lowe of Rumney, NH; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
