Groton, VT – Russell Harley Tinkham, 60, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

He was born in Barre, VT, July 17, 1956, the son of Paul R. and Ruby C. (Edwards) Tinkham.

Russell married Debra Hart on September 26, 1989. He worked for many years in bridge construction around Vermont. Russell was a longtime Tae Kwon Do instructor. He enjoyed reading and loved family, friends, and his dogs. Russell hiked the Appalachian Trail, along with many other hiking excursions including the Vermont Long Trail. To his friends and family he will long be remembered for the stories he told and read to them, a true raconteur.

On Friday, October 21, at 6:30 PM there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Groton Community Building, 1476 Scott Highway, Groton, VT.
