Obituary

Ruth Edith Daniels, aged 96, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2026.

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Ruth dedicated her life to the service of others. After graduating from nursing school, she began her career at Gardner State Hospital in Massachusetts. It was there that she met the love of her life, Robert. The couple eventually settled in Lisbon, New Hampshire, where they spent many wonderful years raising their family. Ruth paused her nursing career while her children were small, ensuring she was always there for them.

Her deep love for the Lord shone through in everything she did and how she lived her life. Following Robert’s retirement from the NH State Police, the couple moved to Florida to escape the winter snow and enjoy their golden years together. After Robert’s passing, Ruth returned to her calling, working in Home Health Care in Florida until the age of 80. She then returned to New Hampshire to be closer to her children.

Ruth cherished life's simple pleasures, especially playing cards with her family and going out to eat. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert; her parents; her sister, Nancy; and her brother, Richard.

Ruth is survived by her children, Robert and Wanda, and their families; her sister, Corinne Turner, and her family; as well as many extended relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She will be interred beside her husband, Robert, in Spring Hills, FL, at the convenience of her family.

Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Grafton County Nursing Home for the outstanding care and love Ruth received during her time there.
