North Haverhill, NH-  Ruth Elaine Orlowski, 87, of Briar Hill Road, died on Tuesday August 1, 2017, at Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH.

Ruth was born in Montpelier, VT, on October 20, 1929, to Ora and Mary (LaRoe) Farr.

For 31 years, Ruth was employed as a secretary for Allied Control in Connecticut.

Ruth enjoyed being a homemaker.  She was a great cook and she loved canning fruits and vegetables.

She married Cyril Orlowski on July 15, 1952 and was predeceased by her husband on August 17, 1986.  She was also predeceased by several sisters and brothers.

Ruth is survived by a daughter, Rita Moody and husband Dion of Connecticut; a son, Carl Orlowski of North Haverhill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Saturday, August 12, at 11 AM, in Ladd Street Cemetery, Haverhill, NH, with Rev. David Moore officiating.
