Ryan David Wilcox, 48, Fairlee, VT, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday December 8, 2022. He was born on April 28, 1974, in Lebanon, NH to Robert and Pamela (Bacon) Wilcox. He was raised in Lyme, NH and graduated from Thetford Academy with the class of 1993. Ryan attended UNH for a year and returned to the upper valley to work at the Co-Op in Hanover where he had worked in high school.
Ryan enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. He was a talented wood turner and was a member of the Twin State Woodturners Association. He was an avid music lover, especially the Grateful Dead and Phish, traveling all over the country to hear live music. Ryan was a collector of comic books and vintage toys.
Ryan is predeceased by his father Robert Wilcox. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Wilcox of Lebanon, NH; two sisters Mina Smolinski and her husband Christopher of Westminster, MD and Hilary Scruggs and her husband Michael of Thetford, VT; five nieces, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Alaina, Zoe, and Lila; two nephews, Mitchell and Owen; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Pastor Dick Hodge will lead a Celebration of Ryan's Life on Thursday December 15, 2022 at 1PM at the Fairlee Community Church, 55 Town Common Rd, Fairlee, VT.
