Waltham/Vergennes - Sandra O. (Foote) Guyette, 75, died peacefully on December 21, 2018, at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury, surrounded by her family.  Sandra was born on January 13, 1943, in Plymouth, NH, the daughter of Clyde and Ida (Fortier) Foote.  On April 6, 1961, she married V. Roland Guyette and they made their home in Woodsville, NH.  In 1967, they moved to Vergennes, where they raised their four children.

After raising their children, Sandra worked outside the home as a preschool assistant for many years. She loved every minute spent with her family. For the past few years she made her home at Helen Porter where, with Roland by her side, she made many friends and enjoyed the various activities, especially Bingo.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Roland; her children, Lindy Bessette and husband, Geoff, of Essex Junction, Lori Lumbra and partner, Rob Holwager, of Vergennes, Shelley LaBerge and partner, Erin Paquin, of Vergennes, and Gregory Guyette and wife, Maria, of South Burlington; her beloved grandchildren, Ryne Bessette (Kate Turner), Brady Bessette, Justin Bessette (Lan Vu), Jonathan Bessette (Alexis Coplin), Reid Lumbra (Nicki English), Ross Lumbra, Alexis LaBerge, Reilly LaBerge (Ashley LaBerge), and Mary, Matthew, Rachel, Anna, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Rose, and Andrew Guyette; and great granddaughter, Rowan LaFlam.

Sandra is also survived by her siblings, Lloyd Foote, Bette Arnold, and Beth Tegu, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Ida Foote, her brother, Ronald Foote, and her in-laws, Harland and Aline Guyette.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and Porter Medical Center for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to Sandra.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Vergennes. There will be no calling hours.  Burial will be in Horse Meadow Cemetery, North Haverhill, New Hampshire, in the spring.
