Groton, VT- Sara Jane Carle, 65, of Welch Road, Died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Concord Hospice House, Concord, NH. Sara Jane was born in Chelsea, MA on December 10, 1945, to Elroy and Sarah (Pearl) Halfrey. Sara Jane has lived in Groton for the past 37 years, moving there from Georgetown, MA. She married Vernon C. Carle, Jr. on September 21, 1997, and he predeceased her on October 26, 2009. She is survived by her children, Jeannie Wall and husband Robert of Manchester, NH, David Ellison and wife Jeanette of Groton, and Tim Ellison of Lyndonville, VT; five grandchildren; a brother, Al Halfrey and wife Joan of Salem, MA; and two nieces. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in Horsemeadow Cemetery, North Haverhill, NH on Saturday, May 28th at 10:30 AM.
