Scott Alden Brown, age 53, passed away on April 7, 2024. Born on September 11, 1970, Scott lived a life filled with dedication, hard work, and love. He graduated from Saint Johnsbury Academy in 1988 before bravely serving his country in the United States Navy aboard the CV-67 USS John F Kennedy Aircraft Carrier during the war in Iraq from 1990 to 1994. January 1992 awarded a letter of appreciation dedicating numerous off-duty hours to the AIMD Support Troubleshooters. January 1993 was selected Sailor of the Month and awarded a Letter of Commendation for responding to a life-threatening emergency to a shipmate while on board CV-67.
After his four-year term, Scott returned home to embrace his family and contribute to the family business, The Green Thumb. Known for his tireless work ethic and his skill as a carpenter, Scott was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Scott found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was spending time with his parents, Alden and Priscilla, or riding his beloved Harley Davidson. However, his greatest source of pride and happiness was his daughter, Gabrielle Rose Brown, born in 2002. Scott cherished every moment spent with Gabby, and she was truly the light of his life.
Scott is survived by his loving parents, Alden and Priscilla Brown, his adored daughter, Gabby Brown, his devoted brother, Clinton Brown, and his sister-in-law, Leslie Walker. He will also be deeply missed by his nephew, Tyler Brown, and his nieces, Jasmine Brown ,Hannah Brown and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The Family will have a private gathering to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to support veterans, a cause that held great significance to Scott.
Scott's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
