Senya (Krogstad) Gibson of Monroe, NH, passed away on February 14, 2026, at The Summit by Morrison in Whitefield, NH. She was 63. Born in Milton, MA, she eventually moved with her family to Woodsville, NH. Senya graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Harvard University Extension School. Those who have known Senya remember her love of cats and her caring for many over the years. She was passionate about gardening and could be found sowing and caring for beautiful flowers and vegetables during the short growing season in the north country.

Senya is predeceased by her parents, Rev. William and Pauline Krogstad, and her husband, Paul "Butch" Gibson. She is survived by her sister Francesca Paddleford of St. Johnsbury, VT, and two stepdaughters, Kinsley Sicard and Jaime Anderson. Senya will be remembered as a gentle, kind, and quiet woman who will be missed but never forgotten by those whose lives were touched by her. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Woodsville, NH, the date and time to be determined.
